October 2004 IBEW Journal Our New Property
L.U. 212 (i), CINCINNATI, OHPreparatory demolition has started on our new property Local 212 purchased. We now own 6.9 acres of land in Norwood, OH. We are excited to get a new building and cannot wait to get into it! On July 8 a few of our members volunteered to tear out a beautiful stone sculpture from the building we are going to demolish. The sculpture is a spectacular bald eagle and we hope we can incorporate it into the new buildings we will erect. (See photo of sculpture and the brothers who removed it.) Thanks, guys, on your hard work well done. Check out more pictures on our Web site, www.local212.com. Click on the link marked "New Property." Mark Boyers, P.S.
