Wisc., Interview Highlights Labor's Gains,
November's Importance
September 8, 2008
For Green Bay, Wisc. Local 158 Business Representative David Jungbluth, the importance of this year’s presidential election can’t be emphasized enough.
“The current Republican candidate opposes almost every single issue important to working families,” he told the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
Jungbluth talked about the IBEW’s attitude towards the upcoming election and shared some of the reasons behind the Brotherhood’s recent growth in a Labor Day interview with the paper.
“Considering the challenging times unions have faced the past few years, I'd say (the IBEW) is extremely healthy,” Jungbluth said. “The culture of this organization is being reshaped by our International President, Ed Hill, and his staff as they have set forth to make the IBEW the right choice for all electricians, contractors and customers.”
