AT&T Negotiations Update #6

The parties resumed local bargaining today.  The focus of discussions surrounded concepts of implementing a customer engineer certification program.  No agreements have been reached at this time.  The expectation is that the merger will be approved by the state of California tomorrow, which is the final requirement of the merger.  Negotiations will continue tomorrow.  This agreement expires on December 10, 2005.

National Negotiations will be in recess until Tuesday, November 29th when it is expected that we will be negotiating with the new AT&T Company.
