are, from left, Eleanor Grim, Tammy Grim,
Bro. Henry Grim (38-year member), Bro.

 (23-year member).

L.U. 743 (em&i), READING, PAWe thank the following apprentices for building the float for the Labor Day parade: Charlie Griffiths, Dustin Reese, Mike Hillje, Ed Braukus, Terry Faust, Bill Godanis, Dan Seltzer, John Yurdock, Ken Eckert and Jeremy Moore. These apprentices gave up their time to ensure that our float was, if not the best, one of the best floats in the parade. Good job, Brothers, you made us proud.

Local 743 accepted the invitation to participate in Local 380s softball tournament. The membership turnout was so high that we fielded two teams. Thanks to Bros. Grant Riegel and Vinnie Wilczynski for organizing our teams. We had a great time!

Thanks also to Bros. Dave Valentino and Tom Stamm for once again planning and tending to the details of Local 743s annual picnic. The turnout was the largest ever, and the food and fellowship were outstanding.

Everyone should try to attend local sponsored events. Participation builds camaraderie and brotherhood, and you will have a great time and make memories.

Summer Outing

Local 747, New Haven CT, members at the summer outing.

L.U. 747 (rr), NEW HAVEN, CTOur local represents electricians on Amtrak and Metro North Railroads. We held our 14th Annual Summer Outing at the Polish American Club in West Haven, CT, on August 10, with over 100 members and retirees attending. You couldnt have asked for a more beautiful day. Everyone enjoyed the food and games, and as in past years each member received a union tee shirt. Getting members from both railroads together and talking to the retirees about old times is always great.

Special thanks to Outing Committee members Gerry Dombrowski, Merle Fiquenick, Gary Donovan and Greg Riccitelli, whose hard work made this day a great success. The date has already been set for next years outing, so if you were unable to attend, please try to make it next year. A great time is guaranteed.

Union meetings are held on the first Monday of each month and all members are urged to attend.

L.U. 915 (i&mt), TAMPA, FLMay 1, 2002, was an important date in the history of Local 915. Our Naples office relocated to Ft. Myers, FL, and the new address is 17311 Alico Center Rd., Suite A, Ft. Myers, FL 33192. The telephone number is 239-482-1700 and the fax number is 239-482-2322.
