Avaya Bargaining Update 11 - May 19, 2009

Today the IBEW team met with Avaya and passed the following demands:

• Boston Allowances,
• Chicago Allowances,
• Per Diem Reimbursement Local 134,
• Additional EWD day,
• Holiday for MLK Day,
• Non-Discrimination language changes and
• GPS info language.

The bargaining team also received information from the company regarding Healthcare. The joint IBEW/CWA teams will meet in the morning in order to draft a Medical Plan proposal.
