AT&T Bargaining 2009

Bargaining Update 8 - June 24, 2009

AT&T National negotiations resumed yesterday with a focus on healthcare for actives and retirees. 

This morning the committee met on Force Adjustment.  These two issues remain at the heart of these negotiations.  Your bargaining committee will be presenting a comprehensive Medical proposal to the company this afternoon.  All IBEW locals covered under these agreements are now completing the strike authorization process.  Local table negotiations have made some progress and continue to meet.  The CWA also continues meet on these same issues.  Updates will be posted more frequently as we get closer to the expiration of the agreement on Saturday night at midnight.  Your patience and support are appreciated.
